Gelmetix’s ambition is to transform individual’s lives through early-stage, minimally-invasive, effective and affordable solutions to either chronic pain or poor body functioning. It’s in the process of developing a multi-product portfolio of gel-based, therapeutic biomaterial medical devices, and each of its products will be the superior demonstration of the novel application of innovative science and technology.
In addition, we created two product animations demonstrating how Gelmetix’s innovative gel-based solutions will address conditions like chronic lower back pain and osteoarthritis in small joints, in the hand and ankle. These were specifically designed to be relevant to the brand’s principal audiences and heathcare professionals.
Having worked with the Gelmetix team on defining the new brand’s core proposition, brand cornerstones, positioning and personality, we also helped it devise a name and created the medical start-up’s brand identity. We were then commissioned to design a website whose principal audience would be investors, potential partners and collaborators, and the press.
To fully engage these audiences in Gelmetix’s story - particularly its origins as a spin-off from the University of Manchester - we devised and filmed a corporate video featuring members of the core team telling the founding and development story.
